QA/QC Engineer

About the Role

• As the QA/QC Engineer you will oversee activities to ensure the highest standards of quality, compliance, and efficiency in the processes related to projects and site works

What you will be doing

• Advises on improved processes to ensure quality standards.

• Allocates Quality Control personnel to the various areas of site activity.

• Cooperate with the Project Quality Inspectors to analyse non-conformities.

• Coordinates the relevant Tracking Systems for the correct identification of materials.

• Evaluate the qualifications of inspection personnel.

• Familiar with good laboratory practices (GLPs) and good manufacturing practices (GMPs).

• Familiar with regulatory requirements and guidelines in food safety management and control, such as ISO standards and the Hazards and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system.

• Has advanced problem-solving skills and can make effective decisions.

• Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance with codes, standards, regulations, equipment-specific specifications, and QMS requirements.

• Oversees audits and leads investigations into major quality deviations to determine root causes.

• Possesses strong leadership skills to guide work activities and to help team members develop their skills in his/her department.

• Supervises the Quality Control functions/activities of a project or its parts, including Quality Control inspection schedules and the collection of Quality Records.

• Supervises the correct equipment calibration management activities.

• Supports and participates in all internal/external audits.

• Supports the Management team in dealing with the Client for all the Quality matters.

Required Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in QA/QC for building construction, preferably in supervision consultancy.

• Large project experience overseeing site execution, conducting inspections, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with contractors on quality across all stages of the project.

• Experience of working to codes, standards and international practices.

Education

• An Engineering degree is expected in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Certifications & Memberships

• Certification from Saudi Society of Engineers or local equivalent based on country requirement.

• ISO 9001 Quality Management Certification, preferred
