Quality Control Supervisor Job Description
- Monitor the
Quality functions and activities of multiple work orders in a project,
including Quality Control inspection schedules and the compilation and
collection of Quality Records.
- Provide oversight and assign tasks to QA/QC Inspectors. Work closely with related engineering, construction, fabrication, and other related departments for managing contractor`s performances and assuring adherence to Client Quality standards.
- Manage Quality
and workmanship of day-to-day activities, having knowledge of all aspects
of engineering and construction relating to Civil, Architectural, Structural,
Mechanical and Electrical discipline.
- Monitor
Quality Control measures on multiple work orders simultaneously with
proper coordination and documentation
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and
implement Quality control and inspection methodologies to ensure
compliance with Quality standards, guidelines, and procedures in each
assigned task.
- Manage and
supervise Construction Quality Control (QC)/Inspection staff of mainly
structural, mechanical, civil, and electrical disciplines in each assigned
project.
- Work closely
with QC team in reviewing requirements for processes or products for
contractors / suppliers to coordinate elaboration, validation &
monitoring of ITPs (Inspection & Test programs) and subcontractors QC
plans to ensure compliance with the Construction Quality Program.
- Coordinate,
review, and monitor third-party inspections, material testing,
non-destructive testing, certificates, calibration, test results,
inspection requests, non-compliance reports, site
instruction/observations, permanent materials delivery, and other
important QA/QC documents.
- Provide
QC/Inspection reports that reinforce activities that are being
constructed/manufactured/fabricated in conformance with each specific
project's established standard and constructively confront
non-conformances to produce the desired outcome in a timely manner.
- Participate in
the QA/QC site weekly meetings.
- Participate in
all Kickoff meetings for the work orders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s
Degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related field
- Comprehensive
knowledge of construction project Quality Management, Project Inspection,
Commissioning and Testing
- 8 years of
proven experience in the construction site/ field Quality Management
- Very good
knowledge of QMS - ISO 9001 in terms of project requirements
- Experience in
monitoring project QA/QC budgets.
- Experience
with managing field engineering, inspection, and NDE related to all QA/QC
functions
- Experience in
the mega projects, KSA/GCC market (advantage).
